ACCRETION - AFTER SILENCE
Matter remembers what it wants to become.
ACCRETION documents the slow violence of formation—the pull that draws scattered things toward coherence. Dust into density. Drift into declaration. This is genesis at the particle level: the patient accumulation of presence until, at some unmarked threshold, dispersal becomes body and silence becomes roar. Each piece exists along a continuum from void to vessel, capturing the tension between dissolution and emergence—the moment before form commits, and the aftermath of its arrival.
Series Structure
I. Before Form
The gathering. Abstract currents of matter in rehearsal—orbiting, testing, not yet knowing what shape they are practicing to become.
II. After Silence
The declaration. Figures torn from the swarm, still wearing the debris of their origin. Bodies that remember being particles.
Themes: emergence, cosmic patience, the mathematics of becoming, identity as accumulation
Palette: oxidised metal, void black, atmospheric silver, ember trace
